The Thanksgiving tradition continued apace. Mom and Maurice came over, I spent several days cooking, and the Swiftemans came as they always do! That's Eric Duneman, Leslie Swift, and their twin boys Sam and Leo who, although they are older than Maceo, are the size of Cassius. (Well, a little bigger than Cash.) Also attending were Jessica (on the right side there) and Katrina (on the left), two friends who were in Peace Corps with me.
The apricot glazed turkey came out well, as it always has--that recipe seems bulletproof. We also had Leslie's patented and delicious pumpkin tart, and Mom brought chestnut soup! All very delicious and lovely, and it was great having everyone over again.
